Philosophy

Sexual Inquiry explores the unconscious beliefs that shape our approach to sexuality and relationships. It is a reflective, collaborative space where our triggers become possibilities to learn more about ourselves. Through acknowledging and working with whatever arises in the body in the present moment, we uncover truths about our conditioning, our histories and our desires for the future.

With patience, compassion and curiosity, we gently uncover the beliefs about sexuality and relationship that are directing your life without your awareness. This understanding creates a pathway to express yourself authentically and embrace eroticism, the creative life force that makes you come alive.

Understanding
Sexual Conditioning

The Problem We Address: Many of us were raised in societies, religious traditions and families of origin that presented confusing or harmful messages around sexuality:

  • Sex is dirty, dangerous, or wrong (but save it for someone you love!)

  • Desire is shameful

  • Love means self-sacrifice

  • Our bodies are not our own

  • Strict gender roles that limit our authentic expression

The Impact: These inherited scripts—often unconscious—shape how we experience:

  • Sexual desire and expression

  • Intimacy and vulnerability

  • Boundaries and consent

  • Confidence and self-worth

  • How we show up in relationships

  • Our connection to our own bodies

The Possibility: When we dissolve the barriers to being fully present with ourselves as sexual beings, we don't just shift how we relate to sex, love, or partnership. Unlearning these patterns help us to reconnect with the deeper core of who we are, bringing playfulness, expansion, and connection that support all areas of life.

Core Values

Intersectional approach: Addressing both trauma and sexual conditioning simultaneously

Beyond pathology: You're not broken - you're carrying inherited scripts that no longer serve you

Eroticism as life force: Reconnecting with authentic sexuality as a pathway to wholeness

Present-moment inquiry: Working with what's alive in your body and experience right now

Collaborative discovery: We explore together what becomes possible when old beliefs loosen their grip
